Meals are prepared on site, with a focus on fresh foods and California flavors. Special diets may be accommodated and healthy snacks are available throughout the day. Outings are available to local restaurants and picnic sites.

A family dining room and patio eating areas are also available for family meals. Catering services can be arranged for family gatherings and special occasions.

Residents at Mission Lodge and Monterey Lodge are encouraged to participate in the menu planning process.  Senior care residents in wine country can take advantage of berries from the Santa Maria valley, tree and vine fruits from Paso Robles area farms and growers, and vegetables from the beautiful Salinas Valley.

Continental breakfasts are available for early risers. Coffee, tea, refreshments and snacks are available on a 24 hour basis for all senior care residents. Daytime and evening snacks are often incorporated into daily activities. Food based activities are included in the activity program for all assisted living residents. Frosting cookies, making homemade ice cream, and other food based senior care activities help residents enjoy homelike meals.
