The Services

Kathy Tucker and Ada
Kathy Tucker and Ada

Monterey Lodge and Mission Lodge were designed by owners Kathy Tucker and her husband to meet the service needs of an assisted living facility. They have large residential care rooms to allow for all levels of mobility aides. Staff are specially trained to assist in the needs of the elderly, including incontinence care, bathing and dressing, and personalized activities.

The Lodges' co-owner and director, Kathy Tucker, is a nurse with more than 30 years experience in geriatric care. She and her staff provide assistance with all of the activities of daily living, while focusing on independence and resident choices.

Continental breakfasts are available for all senior care residents as well as 3 full meals a day and snacks. Coffee, tea and other refreshments are available for residents 24 hours a day. Food based activities, such as picnics on the patio, appetizers in the family rooms, and holiday meals, help long term care residents feel at home at the Lodges at Ada’s Vineyard.

Senior care activities are chosen to meet resident preferences and seasonal events. Families are encouraged to visit and participate in the activities of Mission Lodge and Monterey Lodge. Activities take advantage of the beautiful patios and courtyards of Ada’s Lodges.

Licensed as Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly, Monterey and Mission Lodges are able to provide support for all conditions allowed by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing. This will include medication management, dementia care, and hospice services.

Guests needing licensed phyiscal therapy, or other services may recieve those from a licensed Home Health Agency, while residing with us.
